Urgent Alert: Asylum Seekers Being Moved Abroad

Right now, asylum seekers are being sent abroad until their asylum is finalized. Once a person is moved out of the jurisdiction, it becomes much harder for our committee, lawyers, and community to intervene on their behalf.

If you see anyone arrested, or hear that someone has been picked up, act first. Email the committee immediately so we can reach our lawyer before the person is moved from the laws of this jurisdiction.

Time matters — every hour counts. Do not wait for confirmation before emailing.

Privacy: what we store and what we show

Displayed publicly: first name only (or an initial), the gift amount, and whether it has cleared. No surnames, phone numbers, emails, addresses, immigration status, or payment-account details are ever shown on this page.

Stored privately: only what the Treasury Committee needs to reconcile the ledger — the payment reference from Zelle or Cash App and the date received. Emergency intake details are visible solely to the three Treasury Committee admins and are never published.

This list is a transparency record of money, not a member directory. Want to give without appearing at all? Email lpspgroup56@gmail.com and your gift is logged as anonymous. You can also ask us to remove your name at any time.

Kenyans in Trouble

Report a Kenyan in trouble

Tell us about anyone detained, facing bond, in court, or in hardship. Your report goes straight to the State Admin for that state, who reviews and verifies it before the Treasury Committee acts.

Who is reporting?

Case details are private — only the Treasury Committee and the State Admin for that state can see them.

Urgent Case Updates

Standing With Our Members

Dear Friends and Supporters — thank you for continuing to stand with us in prayer, solidarity, and generosity. Here are the latest updates on members who have been transferred and how their cases are progressing.

Urgent Update: Daniel Karanja's Legal Progress & Location

August 29, 2026

  • Sudden Transfer & Reason

In the early hours of August 26, 2026, at 2:00 AM, Daniel was abruptly woken up from his sleep and informed he was being moved. We learned the transfer was due to severe overcrowding and a lack of available space at the Tacoma Detention Center. For a period, his whereabouts were unknown.

  • Current Location

Our immigration lawyer confirmed that Daniel has been transferred out of state and is currently being held at the detention center in El Paso, Texas.

  • Reassuring Legal Outlook

Despite this sudden interstate transfer, our lawyer is very positive and is doing everything within his power to get Daniel out on bond. The attorney is actively filing the necessary documents, though the exact bond amount must still be set by a Judge.

  • Wonderful News

Daniel was able to call from Texas, and he reports that he is well! Hearing his voice has brought immense relief to everyone. Please keep lifting him up in prayer for strength and protection. Together, we remain strong!

Keep Daniel in your prayers — updates posted as we receive them.

Urgent Update: Grace Wanjiru's Bond Hearing & Location

August 28, 2026

  • Overnight Transfer

On the night of August 25, 2026, Grace was moved without prior notice from her facility in Georgia after the center reached capacity. Her family spent two days without knowing where she had been taken.

  • Current Location

Our legal team has now confirmed that Grace is being held at a detention center in Oakdale, Louisiana. The Louisiana State Admin has been notified and is in contact with her family.

  • Legal Progress

Her attorney has filed for a bond hearing and remains optimistic. The community's legal retainer support is covering her filings, and a court date is expected to be set within the coming weeks.

  • She Is Well

Grace spoke with her sister by phone and says she is safe and in good spirits. She asked the community to keep praying and thanked everyone for the emergency fallback support.

Keep Grace in your prayers — updates posted as we receive them.

Urgent Update: Samuel Mwangi's Transfer & Family Support

August 27, 2026

  • Abrupt Move

Early on August 24, 2026, Samuel was woken at dawn and transferred from the Aurora facility in Colorado due to overcrowding. His whereabouts were unknown for nearly 48 hours.

  • Current Location

Our immigration lawyer confirmed Samuel is now held at a detention center in Florence, Arizona. The Arizona State Admin has taken over on-the-ground coordination for his case.

  • Bond Effort Underway

The attorney is actively preparing bond documents and reports a positive outlook. The bond amount will be set by a Judge, and the Fund stands ready within our bylaws cap to assist.

  • Family Reassured

Samuel called his wife from Arizona and is in good health. Family well-care support from the Fund has been extended to his household during this difficult time.

Keep Samuel in your prayers — updates posted as we receive them.

Thank you so much for your continued compassion, prayers, and support. Together, we remain strong!

Volunteers needed

We are looking for State Admins

We need one trusted volunteer in every state to keep an audit of all Kenyans in trouble there — detention, bond, deportation, or family hardship. State Admins are the eyes and ears of the fund so no one in our community goes unnoticed.

Know your state

Track Kenyans detained, facing bond hearings, or in crisis in your state and report them to the Treasury Committee.

Verify before we pay

Confirm the facts of each emergency request from your state — detention center, case status, and family contact — so funds go where they are truly needed.

Give a monthly audit

Send a short monthly report of all cases in your state: who was helped, what is still open, and what it cost.

Be reachable

Stay active in the WhatsApp group so a family in your state can reach a real person the same day.

Email lpspgroup56@gmail.com with your name, state, and phone number. The 3-Admin Treasury Committee approves every State Admin before they are given access to the audit tools.

How to Contribute

Monthly dues and one-time gifts can be sent directly to the community account via Cash App. It's the fastest way to get your gift to a family in crisis.

Cash App $Cashtag

$KCEFUND

  1. 1Open Cash App or visit cash.app/$KCEFUND.
  2. 2Enter your amount and add the note "Community Gift - [Your Name]".
  3. 3Pay, and your gift appears in the public Transactions Log at the end of the month.

Scan with your phone camera to pay $KCEFUND

Pay with Cash App

Note: When sending via Cash App, the app will display the name of our designated account manager [Insert Name] because it is a personal account set up for the group's speed. Rest assured, this is the correct community account.

How Your Money Is Handled

  • Received via Cash App to $KCEFUND — the fastest way for members to send gifts.
  • Swept weekly into the 3-Admin Treasury Committee's dedicated bank account, so the balance is protected and not sitting in a personal Cash App balance.
  • Disbursements (legal, bond, family support) are paid from the bank account — not Cash App — so a large legal payment doesn't hit Cash App's $7,500 weekly send cap.
  • Every transaction is logged on the public Transactions Log with a downloadable receipt.

Rules & Bylaws

The governance framework every member agrees to. Tap a rule to read it.

The fund is governed by three elected administrators. No single admin can move money alone — every payout requires approval from at least 2 of the 3 committee members. Admins serve one-year terms and must recuse themselves from any vote involving their own family.
